With the guidance of UpHouse and Little Ghost Creative, the project focused on crafting a brand identity that reflected their innovative air quality solutions and growing reach across industries.

Breathing New Life into Air Quality

The global pandemic underscored what many had overlooked—clean air is crucial to our health and well-being. As awareness of indoor air quality grew, so did the demand for solutions that could protect public spaces.

Blade recognized this need early, responding with advanced air filtration systems designed to improve the air we breathe indoors. The focus was not just on providing clean air but doing so in a way that aligned with sustainability and innovation.

The Pivot to a Unified Brand

Blade’s story begins with three innovators who saw inefficiencies in traditional carbon filters and created the world’s first replaceable cartridge system. Initially serving the cannabis industry, their products provided an eco-friendly solution to air management. But as their technology evolved and expanded into other sectors, so did the need for a cohesive brand.

The pandemic accelerated their growth, leading to the development of HEPA air purifiers and air quality solutions for schools, businesses, and public institutions. With their technology and reach growing, Blade turned to UpHouse and Little Ghost Creative to merge Blade Filters and Blade Air into a single, powerful brand.

Blending Innovation and Design

As Blade’s business expanded, their visual identity needed to reflect the sophistication and maturity of their brand.

UpHouse and Little Ghost Creative collaborated to refine Blade’s logo, expand the colour palette, and introduce an airy, modern illustration style that would work across their product lines.
