Smarter Tech for Sustainable Farming

UKKÖ Robotics is transforming pasture-based farming in North America and Europe. In 2022, they partnered with Little Ghost Creative to increase their digital presence and showcase their sustainable farming solutions. We helped them build a strong online identity, create engaging content, and reach a new generation of tech-savvy farmers.

Designed by Farmers, for Farmers

In the summer of 2022, UKKÖ Robotics, a pioneering Ag-Tech startup from the Canadian prairies, asked Little Ghost Creative to enhance their online presence and highlight their innovative solutions in regenerative agriculture.

Founded by partners Dan and Kat, UKKÖ Robotics aims to transform pasture-based livestock farming. To reach a new generation of entrepreneurial farmers, they needed to improve their digital presence.

“We lack in our online presence, we want to do more. We want to tell the world who UKKÖ is, why we exist and how our product can benefit farmers.”

Laying the Groundwork

UKKÖ Robotics needed a stronger online presence to effectively explain their complex engineering solutions. Their target audience, young and tech-savvy farmers, primarily engaged through social media, so focusing on a digital-first strategy was crucial. They voiced a clear need to connect better with this audience.

“We think that good messaging is the key, but we need help.”

We began with comprehensive discovery sessions and made two visits to the UKKÖ Robotics test farm. These steps helped us fully understand their technology and the needs of their target market. This phase was crucial for setting the strategic direction of the project.

“Most of our clients are young entrepreneurial farmers that are on social media. We believe spending on our digital brand will go a long way.”

Creating a New Digital Identity

With a clear understanding of UKKÖ Robotics' goals, we launched a strategic brand activation. This included an awareness-building campaign and an SEO-friendly website revamp with user-friendly interfaces to simplify their products' technical aspects.

We developed an integrated digital strategy featuring dynamic content aimed at educating and engaging their niche market. This approach helped clarify UKKÖ’s offerings and positioned them as leaders in the Ag-Tech industry.

“Robyn and Maggie are great listeners and attentive to details. They also bring great ideas to the table.”

Seeing Results

The reintroduction of their brand and digital enhancements had an immediate impact. UKKÖ Robotics saw a significant increase in online engagement and received positive feedback from both existing and potential clients.

The new website became an important tool for educating farmers about the benefits of autonomous pasture barns and the importance of regenerative farming practices for sustainable agriculture.
